The first-ever Infiniti G Convertible will be the newest addition to the celebrated line of G vehicles, opening up the driving experience to expansive new heights of emotion. Powered by a 3.7-liter V6 producing 320-plus horsepower, the G Convertible will feature a fully automatic three-piece folding top – providing a coupe-like silhouette and all-weather protection when up and exhilarating open-air driving when in the down position. It will make its formal debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show in November, but Shiro Nakamura, Senior Vice President and Design Director, revealed a "first look" at the 2008 Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance.
The line of G vehicles reflects Infiniti's passion through intense performance elevated by modern luxury and progressive, sensuous styling to transform the driving experience. Lauded by enthusiasts and journalists alike, the G Coupe and G Sedan have earned numerous awards and accolades – both have been named an AUTOMOBILE Magazine All-Star[1], and the latter has been named to Car and Driver's "10Best" list[2], to name a few.
