2011 Citroën DS3 & C5 Série Noire Edition

Citroën is presenting “Série Noire”, a limited edition available on order with the Citroën DS3 and Citroën C5. These original versions of two highly successful brand vehicles feature exclusive – and distinctive – exterior and interior styling.

CITROËN DS3 SERIE NOIRE
The Citroën DS3 continues to show bold initiative with this original and exclusive special series. The “Série Noire” model further explores the many customisation options offered by the Citroën DS3. It has matt black bodywork, a shiny black roof, 17-inch black, diamond-tipped Bellone wheels, a chrome-plated rubbing strip and chrome-plated door mirror housings. This limited edition of 750 vehicles also places particular emphasis on interior trim, with Mistral / Lama leather upholstery, and a fascia trim, air vent surrounds, interior door handle trim and gear lever knob in the same shiny black as the roof, Alongside this distinctive ambience, the Citroën DS3 Série Noire features the MyWay navigation system and HiFi system.

The Citroën DS3 Série Noire ships with the THP 150 and HDi 110 engines mated to a six-speed manual gearbox, with prices from €24,750.

CITROËN C5 SERIE NOIRE
The Citroën C5 is now available in a new limited edition aimed at the growing number of motorists looking for something different. Featuring all the equipment delivered with the Exclusive + trim, the Citroën C5 Série Noire also gains – as standard – matt Perla Nera black paint, 19-inch matt grey alloy Hephaïs wheels matching the body colour, chrome-plated door mirror housings, Criollo integral leather upholstery (including the dashboard and central console) and a roof lining in Samoa, a microfibre fabric.

The Citroën C5 Série Noire is equipped with hydractive suspension delivering a unique mix of performance and comfort. This technology, an exclusive in the automotive world, controls vehicle attitude in real time to keep ground clearance constant regardless of load. Vehicle attitude is automatically lowered at high-speeds, for improved aerodynamics and lower fuel consumption and CO2 emissions.

This elegant, dynamic special series is available from €44,600 in saloon and tourer versions with the HDi 200 DPFS and V6 HDi 240 DPFS engines mated to a six-speed automatic gearbox.

Citroen DS3 Orla Kiely Edition

Citroën’s distinctive and versatile DS3 offers something for everyone this Spring, with two exclusive new ranges to welcome in the new 11-plate.

For drivers after power and prestige, the special edition DS3 Racing – limited to 200 RHD UK models – delivers 207hp, motorsport styling and a range-topping premium specification. Showcasing the latest in four-wheel fashion, the DS3 by Orla Kiely Collection integrates the designer’s iconic style into an exclusive line of 500 models in four variations.

DS3 Racing combines an impeccable sporting pedigree with bold styling, an uncompromising choice of premium materials and extensive equipment specification. Developed by Citroën Racing, DS3 Racing is a driver’s car that doesn’t compromise on comfort or convenient technology. Standard specification includes automatic digital air conditioning, Bluetooth® with USB connectivity and an eight-speaker HiFi system. Exclusive features also include a S.ESP (Switchable Electronic Stability Programme).

A rewarding road car that’s effortless to live with, DS3 Racing delivers power and performance with efficiency (44.1mpg) and environmental consideration (149g/km of CO2). Enjoyable day-to-day driveability with a focus on quality, reliability and useable performance, DS3 Racing is priced at £23,100 MRRP OTR. A highly desirable addition to the range, and already a major success for the brand, customers placing an order for a DS3 Racing in March will join a waiting list of approximately six months before taking delivery of their car.

Citroën and globally renowned designer Orla Kiely recently revealed their exciting collaboration to create an exclusive line of DS3 models – the DS3 by Orla Kiely Collection.

The stylish collection showcases four body colours; four different roof designs – featuring Orla’s signature stem or acorn patterns; coloured door mirrors; stem print rear window graphics; and black or white 17” alloy wheels. Inside are stylish leather seats with Orla Kiely embossed multi-coloured headrests; stem or acorn print carpet mats; and colour contrasting dashboard and door handle inserts in cream or brown.

TheDS3 by Orla Kiely Collection is based on the fuel and CO2 efficient DStyle HDi 90 manual, a generously specified model that includes Bluetooth® and USB connectivity. Prices start from just £16,000 MRRP OTR.

2011 Musketier Citroen DS3

The Citroen DS3 uses the factory with individuality. Tuner musketeer filed down even further on the personal touch of the French and has an enhanced with numerous attachments limited edition launched.

He calls himself Citroen DS3 Tiburon 222 Limited Edition will be built only in ten and is available at prices starting at € 28 790. It is based on the special edition of a DS3 Tuner musketeer THP 150 Sport Chic with satellite navigation system. For Tiburon package musketeer include a body kit in carbon look, a sports exhaust system, lowering and 18-inch alloy wheels.

Performance increase of up to 230 hp
Of course, the accessories of musketeer is not tied to the special model. If desired, can be upgraded at any DS3. The Tiburon body kit includes a front spoiler, a rear apron, side skirts approaches Radlaufleisten and a sport exhaust system. The latter can be of different tailpipes and thus blend in with the rear diffuser. The aerodynamic body parts come with a carbon look or shine, therefore available in black or silver. The complete package costs from € 1849. Of course, all parts are based on their own.

The chassis optimized using shorter springs Musketeer (from 179 €) or with a coilover suspension (from 959 €), the motors can be strengthened by new engine control software. The 90-hp diesel sets for 699 € to 115 hp and 246 Nm. The 110-hp diesel engine makes 699 euros after the expensive Elektronikkur 139 PS and 375 Nm. The 1.6-liter turbo gasoline unit with new software for 849 € to 190 hp and 340 Nm. If still another, a larger turbocharger and intercooler are installed even 230 hp possible.

The interior of the Citroen DS3 add value to a Volllederaustattung, sport steering wheels and a sport shift knob.

Citroën’s elegant C5 range is to be updated and refreshed with smart styling and technology upgrades including a distinctive new LED light signature, darker tinted rear light clusters, re-homologated engines andthe introduction of the Company’s innovative new eTouch Emergency &Assistance System.

The model upgrades apply to both Saloon and Tourer versions and are available from November 2010.

Already widely recognised as one of the most stylish and well-equipped models its segment, the visual changes to the C5 range aresubtle yet assured, whilst the efficiency and equipment upgrades further strengthen the model’s technologically advanced credentials.

STYLING UPGRADES

Standard specification across both the C5 Saloon and Tourer ranges, specially designed LEDs have been neatly integrated into the headlights to give the model a distinctive new visual signature. The rear light clusters also benefit from a new ‘Dark Crystal’ treatment with clear glass in the central section. The headlamps retain all their existing functionality and the models safety-enhancing cornering lights remain standard specification across the range.

MORE EFFICIENT POWER

The Citroën C5 range now benefits from a full Euro 5 compliant engineline-up with the introduction of the 1.6HDi 110hp Euro 5 to replace theEuro 4 version. The 1.6i THP 155hp petrol engine – available in Saloonform with VTR+ NAV trim – and the 3.0HDi V6 240hp Auto Exclusive (Saloon and Tourer) have been re-homologated and now offer improved fuelefficiency and lower CO2 emissions. Combined cycle fuel economy increases from 39.8mpg to 42.2mpg and 38.2mpg to 39.2mpg respectively. CO2emissions are also down 14g/km and 6g/km respectively, resulting in reduced BIK tax rates for both models (down 3 bands for the THP 155 and down 2 bands for the HDi V6). The first year VED for the THP 155 model changes from band H to band G.

CITROËN’S NEW eTOUCH EMERGENCY & ASSISTANCE SYSTEM

Standard specification on all C5 Exclusive models, customers now benefit from the introduction of Citroën’s new eTouch Emergency & Assistance System. This innovative service automatically or manually makesemergency calls and allows manual assistance calls – using a built-in SIM card – for a rapid response in the event of an accident or if the car is immobilised. Citroën’s eTouch system also allows drivers to consult information online at their ‘MyCITROËN’ personal space, whichallows them to monitor their vehicle’s maintenance requirements and to receive advice on improving fuel economy. These services are free and available 24-7.
