2013 Lamborghini Aventador

RENM performance has officially released their Lamborghini Aventador Limited Edition Corsa (LE-C). The RENM Aventador LE-C is a special track focussed version of the Aventador that blends aggressive styling with race-developed technology.

A video featuring design illustrations of the Aventador LE-C highlights the key features and unique design characteristics of the vehicle.

The RENM LE-C combines elements of the Aventador ‘wedge’ design with influences from the Lamborghini Aventador J concept, most notably the front section. The design demonstrates how the Aventador lines have been retained while creating a distinctive and cutting-edge appearance.

“We wanted to retain the original design lines while enhancing and making improvements across the entire platform. Some aspects of the design were influenced by the Aventador J concept, but only those sections we considered were improvements. For instance, the upper rear grille is similar to the J concept, although the lower rear section is a total redesign.”

The design specifications were also developed in consultation with Aventador owners scheduled for the LE-C upgrade. “We released preliminary details of the LE-C earlier this year to gauge the response to the concept. Since then the design was revised and finalised prior to its production. ”

Key features of the LE-C program include:
Extensively redesigned aerodynamic carbon fiber body sections with electronically operated rear wing;
Road and race specification valve-controlled inconel and titanium exhaust systems, re-designed air intake chambers, ECU recalibration resulting in a 9-11% increase in engine output;
Individual suspension, chassis adjustments and modifications, with adjustable vehicle ride height;
Exclusive LE-C light weight center-lock race specification wheels, fitted with optional race specification tyres;
LE-C race brake kits with air flow inlets, revised engine and brake cooling chambers;
LE-C interior with alcantara and carbon fiber accents, including steering wheel with optional light weight race seats and harness section.

The limited edition Aventador LE-C vehicles are customized for specific markets. All Aventador LE-C vehicles vary slightly in engine output. Some owners have opted for an increase in engine output through higher grade fuel with higher flowing, less restrictive exhaust systems for maximum performance.

“During testing, we discovered that a larger, bolt-on rear wing was counter-productive at certain speeds. We also realised that an additional rear wing unsettled the flow and symmetry of the car’s design. The electronically operated wing resolves these issues and was optimised instead of being replaced”.

Replacement body parts are made from light-weight carbon fiber composites that provide significant weight savings. The interior also blends alcantara and carbon fiber elements. Both standard and light-weight race seats are upholstered in alcantara with LE-C inscription.

The Aventador LE-C modifications result in a reduction of rotating and unsprung masses, improved handling and traction. The complete program significantly improves performance, acceleration and vehicle dynamics.
“The combination of improved power-to-weight ratio, extensive upgrades and high-grade performance components dramatically improve the driving experience. ”
The Aventador LE-C clearly demonstrates RENM ‘s capacity for concept development and design at the highest levels.

Lamborghini Murcielago

After their successfull Murcielago “2011-GT” last year, DMC is now proud to announce the updated M-GT Murcielago, a styling & performance kit that has been engineered for the first generation Murci from the ground up. DMC‘s team set the target to refresh the supercars look on the out- and inside while staying loyal to the original line, and boy does it deliver.

Body Kit
The basic message of the M-GT is clear, adding an aggressive look with a strong pinch of LP670 DNA. To achieve greater downforce on the front, DMC offers a redesigned front and rear bumper with integrated diffusers. In typical DMC tradition, all parts are being manufactured in pure carbon fiber by an Autoclave. Owners that don’t have the glass engine cover, can also get this window of beauty, along with a newly developed rear wing spoiler.

Exhaust
The DMC stainless sports rear silencer (end pipe) emits a sound similar to that generated from race tracks announcing the arrival of the blood-curdling steer. Positive side effect; an even sportier rear look. If that‘s not enough, customers can extend their exhaust system with a DMC sport metallic catalytic converter.

Interior
DMC prepares the cockpit of the Super-Lambo providing even more sports racing atmosphere. For this, the tuners from Duesseldorf, Germany offer a complete make-over using carbon fiber & fine leathers. Clients that have the opportunity to bring their car to DMC will not recognize their Murcielago after the DMC treatment. Complete new leather and carbon fiber coatings leave no old look behind, a hand-made art that is performed by only a few masters left in Germany.

Engine
Since DMC opened a Performance Unit in Zurich Switzerland, it was clear that performance now could only one way: Taking out the complete engine for a make-over. While traditional Lamborghini design features combined overhead throttle valves per cylinder bank, DMC has decided to use 12 unique single intake throttle plates, one per each cylinder. Gasoline pumps and – lines, as well as pressure modulators and injection nozzles will be replaced by own new components. New crankshafts have been custom made to fit the new requirements. Optimized engine electronics, an electronic load pressure control system and a completely new wiring will be added. The engine will be rebranded as LP700.
